Patek Philippe Service
What a Patek Philippe service involves
Fine watches of every age come through the ChronoCare workshop, and a Patek Philippe is looked after by the same in-house watchmakers as every other piece. The workshop is the watchmaking arm of Chrono Group and sits beside its showroom at Prive Residences in Dubai Hills.
Our servicing covers the whole movement. It is taken apart, cleaned ultrasonically and checked part by part, and worn parts are replaced. It's then lubricated, rebuilt, regulated and timed, and the watch is given a water-resistance test. The full sequence is set out on our watch servicing page. If a specific fault has appeared, such as a chronograph or date that no longer works properly, that is a job for watch repair.
ChronoCare is an independent watch specialist and is not authorised by, approved by or affiliated with Patek Philippe or any other watch brand. The Patek Philippe name describes the watches we work on. Alongside servicing, the same workshop offers case and bracelet polishing and independent authentication for pre-owned pieces.

How we service a Patek Philippe
Assessment and agreement
We look over your Patek Philippe together and talk through what it needs now, what can wait and what is optional. Nothing starts until you've agreed.
Disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning
We open the case and strip the movement down fully, then clean every component in an ultrasonic bath.
Inspection and replacement
Our watchmakers inspect every cleaned part, and anything that shows wear is replaced before the rebuild begins.
Re-lubrication and reassembly
Piece by piece, the movement goes back together, with fresh lubricant added at the points where parts meet.
Regulation, timing and testing
Finally the watch is regulated and timed, and a pressure test checks its water resistance before you collect it.

Common questions from Patek Philippe owners
What is included in a Patek Philippe service?
The complete movement is serviced. It's dismantled, cleaned ultrasonically and inspected, and worn parts are replaced. It is then lubricated, reassembled, regulated and timed, and a pressure test of the water resistance comes last. Polishing the case and bracelet is a separate service.
Is ChronoCare connected to Patek Philippe?
No. ChronoCare is an independent watch specialist and is not authorised by, approved by or affiliated with Patek Philippe or any other watch brand. The Patek Philippe name describes the watches we work on.
Who works on my Patek Philippe?
Our own certified watchmakers, at the ChronoCare workshop in Dubai Hills. ChronoCare is the in-house watchmaking arm of Chrono Group, and the workshop sits alongside the Chrono Group showroom at Prive Residences.
Do you look after older Patek Philippe watches?
Yes. Our watchmakers look after fine watches of every age, and our repair work covers modern and vintage pieces. Every watch is assessed first, so you'll hear what an older piece needs before anything is agreed.
Can you check a pre-owned Patek Philippe before I buy it?
Yes, through our watch authentication service. The case, dial, movement and bracelet are examined, the serial and reference numbers are checked for consistency, and the findings are set out in a written report. That report is the watchmakers' expert opinion. It is not a guarantee of authenticity, not a legal certificate and not a valuation.
How do I arrange a Patek Philippe service?
Send a WhatsApp message to +971 56 342 6757, or call the same number, to book an appointment. The workshop is open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Bring the box and any earlier service papers if you've kept them.
