Certified watchmakers at the Dubai Hills workshop service the whole movement. Dismantling, cleaning, inspection, re-lubrication, timing and a water-resistance test are all part of one job, and the assessment comes before any commitment. If the findings are modest, we say so, and you are not asked to approve more than the watch needs.
What the watchmaker does
Strip, clean, inspect
The movement comes apart, goes through an ultrasonic bath and is inspected, so the wear that daily use creates is found early.
Replacement of tired parts
Anything that has worn through everyday use is replaced before it can affect the rest of the movement.
Fresh lubrication on reassembly
The movement is put back together with new oil at the points that bear load, so it settles into smooth, steady running.
Regulated and checked for water
Timing is set against a steady rate, and a pressure test for water resistance finishes the work before the watch goes home.

Questions about watch servicing in Al Barsha

The workshop is open Monday to Saturday until 6:00 PM, by appointment, so message us on WhatsApp to agree a time that works with your day. Bringing the watch yourself also lets you ask questions in person, and hear the assessment explained first-hand.
Do you service watches that are not very old?
Yes. A newer watch can still benefit from a service, especially if it is worn daily and has seen heat, dust and moisture. Age is only one factor, and the assessment is based on the condition we find when the watch is in front of us.

Rolex, Tudor, Cartier, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin are among those we service, along with other Swiss and independent names. We are an independent specialist, and have no affiliation with, or authorisation from, any of these brands, which are named only to show what we work on.
