Diagnosis first, repair second
Repair at ChronoCare begins with understanding. A stopped watch, a watch that gains or loses time, a crown that will not hold, a cracked crystal or a chronograph that sticks each has a cause, and our watchmakers find it before proposing anything. Working in this order avoids replacing parts that were never at fault.
We repair modern and vintage watches, working at component level where we can. That includes crown and stem faults, crystals, date and winding problems and chronograph issues, as well as the wider restoration of watches that have lived hard lives. Each piece is treated according to its age, construction and condition.
Chrono Care is the in-house watchmaking arm of Chrono Group, and certified watchmakers do the work at our Dubai Hills workshop. You hear the findings first, with the watch in front of you, and nothing proceeds without your agreement. Questions are welcome at every stage, from the first message to the moment the watch is handed back.

A certified watchmaker examines the watch and listens to your account of what it has been doing, to establish where the fault lies.
Explain
We show and explain what needs doing before we do it, so you can agree to or decline the proposed repair.
Repair
The faulty parts are repaired, or replaced where repair is not possible, and the movement and case are brought back to proper working order.
Adjust and return
The watch is adjusted, checked for function and timekeeping, and handed back to you with an account of what was done.

Questions about watch repair
How do I know whether I need a repair or a service?
If the watch has a specific fault, such as stopping, drifting or a damaged crown, a repair is the starting point. A service is routine maintenance of a working watch. Our watchmakers examine it and tell you which applies, or whether it needs both.
Do you repair vintage watches?
Yes. Repair and restoration of vintage and modern watches is part of our work, including component repair and precision adjustments. Older watches vary widely in condition, so we examine first and explain what is practical before anything proceeds.
Will I know what is being done before you begin?
Yes. After examination we explain the fault and the proposed work, and we do nothing until you have agreed. That is how we operate on every watch, from the simplest crown repair to a more involved restoration.
Where is the repair carried out?
At our own workshop in Prive Residences, Dubai Hills, by certified watchmakers. It is the in-house workshop of Chrono Care, the watchmaking arm of Chrono Group. The workshop opens Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with appointments arranged by WhatsApp or phone.
Can you repair a watch if I am outside Dubai?
Yes. Some clients travel to Dubai themselves and others use an insured courier, which they arrange. Speak to us on WhatsApp beforehand so we understand the fault and agree the plan. The watch is examined at the workshop, and we explain our findings before work starts.
Are you approved by Rolex or other brands?
No. We are an independent specialist, with no authorisation from, or affiliation to, any watch brand. We name brands only to show which watches we work on, and each repair is performed by certified watchmakers at our own Dubai Hills workshop.
