Yes, and it is a good way to make one visit count. A watchmaker will examine each watch in turn and explain which need work first, so the family can decide together.
Can a bracelet be resized for a new wearer?
Yes. Bracelet resizing is part of our repinning work, and the aim is a good fit for the person who will wear it, with the original links kept wherever possible.
Is it worth repairing an older watch of sentimental value?
Often it is. A watchmaker will say what it needs and what it would involve, and the decision stays with you. Sentimental value is a perfectly good reason to repair a watch.
