Watch Polishing for Abu Dhabi
Polishing cannot be judged from a photograph, so we plan it around the watch itself. Clients in Abu Dhabi can bring their watch to Dubai or arrange for it to reach us by insured courier.

Watch Polishing
Careful polishing, planned from a distance
Clients in the capital often have busy schedules and a watch that matters. For Abu Dhabi, we begin the conversation by message, learning what the watch is, what bothers you and what you hope to achieve, before arranging how it reaches the workshop. That way the plan is clear to both of us from the start.
Photographs help us understand the marks, but deciding how much metal can safely move needs the watch under the loupe. That is why we examine it in person first, set out a plan and wait for your agreement before starting anything. You then know exactly what you are agreeing to.

How the process works at a distance

A conversation comes first
We start on WhatsApp, discussing the watch, its marks and your expectations, so the visit or shipment has a clear purpose.

Two ways to reach us
You may travel to the Dubai Hills workshop yourself, or arrange for the watch to come in by insured courier, as suits you.

Examined before agreed
Nothing is polished until we have examined the watch and shown you the plan, including what we would not do.

Return agreed in advance
How the watch comes back to you is settled with us before work begins, so there are no surprises at the end.

From the capital to the Dubai Hills workshop
Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE, with Al Maryah Island, the Corniche and Saadiyat among the places clients call home. Owners here may travel often, for work and leisure, and a watch worn through airports and varied climates collects its own set of fine marks.
If you are already visiting Dubai, message us and we can arrange an appointment at the workshop. If not, tell us you would prefer to send the watch by insured courier, and we will talk through how that works before anything is sent, so you understand the plan before committing to it.
Signs a travelling watch needs attention
- Travel has left scuffs on the case from bags and security trays
- Polished surfaces look hazy after long periods of wear
- The bracelet looks dull and is lightly marked along its edges
- A knock has left a dent you notice every time

Questions about watch polishing in Abu Dhabi
Can I send a watch from Abu Dhabi for polishing?
Yes, insured courier is an option, and we discuss the arrangements with you before anything is sent. We examine the watch on arrival, set out the plan and wait for your agreement before any work begins. If we think polishing is unwise for the watch, we tell you at that point.
Do I need to visit Dubai in person from Abu Dhabi?
No. You can come to the Dubai Hills workshop yourself or arrange an insured courier. Either way, we start with a WhatsApp conversation about the watch, so that you know what to expect before it travels. Many questions can be settled in that first message.
Can you assess polishing from photographs?
Photographs help us understand the marks and ask better questions, but they cannot show bevel sharpness or case thickness reliably. We give a view after examining the watch itself, which is when we can recommend how much, if anything, to polish.
What happens once my Abu Dhabi watch arrives?
It is examined, and the plan is shown to you for agreement before any work begins. If we advise against polishing, we say so and arrange its return in the way you have agreed with us.
