Watch Repinning for Jumeirah
A watch handed down through a family has often outlived its bracelet's tightness. We repin it patiently, keep every original link we can and size it for whoever will wear it next.

Watch Repinning
Heirloom bracelets deserve patience
A watch that has passed from one generation to the next carries years of wear in its bracelet. The links may be original, but the pins and collars inside them are small parts that give way over time, leaving a bracelet that is long, loose and sometimes noisy. None of that means the links themselves need replacing.
Our priority with an heirloom is to keep what is original. The worn pins, collars and screws come out and new ones go in, the links are left alone wherever possible, and we say so plainly if one is beyond saving. Resizing then fits the bracelet to the wrist of the person who will wear it now.

Caring for a watch with a past
Originality is respected
Every original link that can be kept is kept, so the bracelet stays recognisably the one your family has known.
Small parts replaced
Worn pins, collars and screws are replaced individually, which restores tightness without altering the character of the bracelet.
Plain talk about links
Should a link prove too worn to take a pin, we show you the evidence and talk through your choices before anything changes.
Resized for the next wearer
A bracelet sized for one generation can be resized for another, so the watch is worn rather than kept in a drawer.

Jumeirah, from Umm Suqeim to Al Safa
The area takes in Jumeirah 1 to 3, Umm Suqeim and Al Safa, and it is home to long-established families whose watches often have stories attached. Beachside villas and the calm of Jumeirah Beach Road suit a watch that is worn, valued and passed down, and a bracelet that has lasted this long is worth keeping.
If a watch has reached you from a parent or grandparent, send us a WhatsApp message describing it. We will welcome you at our Dubai Hills workshop, where the bracelet is inspected link by link and the findings are explained without hurry. Bring anything you know of its history; it helps us treat it with the right care.
When a family watch feels tired
- The bracelet was sized for its previous owner and slips on you
- Links wobble where they used to sit firm and square
- A clicking sound has appeared that the watch never had
- The bracelet looks longer than the watch's original proportions suggest

Questions about watch repinning in Jumeirah
Can an old bracelet still be repinned?
Often, yes. What matters is the condition of the links and the holes the pins sit in, more than the age of the bracelet. We inspect them and tell you plainly whether new pins and collars will hold, or whether a link needs more attention.
I inherited a watch in Jumeirah and do not know its history. Is that a problem?
Not for repinning. We work from the bracelet in front of us, not the paperwork. If you also want the watch's identity and originality examined, our authentication service gives a written findings report, and we can talk through that separately.
Can the bracelet be made smaller for a family member?
Yes. Resizing is part of the service, and we size the bracelet to the new wearer's wrist. If links need to be removed, ask us what happens to them when you book, and we will explain how we handle it.
Does Jumeirah's coastal air matter for an old bracelet?
Coastal air and humidity are part of life here, and older metal bracelets have had years of exposure. Salt and grit can collect in joints and speed wear, so we look closely at older bracelets for play before suggesting how to proceed.
