Watch Repinning
A bracelet that keeps up with family life
In a busy household the watch gets knocked against car doors, kitchen counters and playground railings, all in a normal week. Those small impacts add up inside the bracelet, where pins and collars work a little looser each time. In time the bracelet lengthens and the watch no longer sits where you left it.
Repinning puts that right without replacing the bracelet. Worn pins, collars and screws are renewed, original links remain in place wherever possible, and the bracelet can be resized if the watch is changing hands, perhaps as a gift. We explain every step before it is carried out, and nothing is changed without your say.

Practical repair for a busy household

Wear found, not guessed
We inspect the bracelet link by link to find where knocks and daily wear have left the joints loose.

Small parts made new
Pins, collars and screws are replaced where worn, which brings back the firm, quiet feel without a new bracelet.

Springbars checked too
A worn springbar can be the reason a bracelet wobbles at the case, so tired ones are replaced as part of the job.

Resized for another wrist
Handing a watch to a spouse, parent or grown child is easier when the bracelet is resized to fit them properly.

Mirdif, family by family
Mirdif is a family villa community in east Dubai, with Mirdif City Centre at its heart. Watches here are worn through the school week and family weekends, and they are often handed on or given as presents when someone graduates or marks a milestone, so a bracelet may need to fit more than one wrist.
Booking starts with a WhatsApp message or a phone call. Tell us what the bracelet does, and we will arrange a visit to our Dubai Hills workshop. Our watchmakers look over the whole bracelet and explain what they see, so you understand what was done and why, and can say yes or no to each step.
Signs from a busy household
- The watch face keeps rotating to the side of your wrist
- Knocks against a door frame now produce a metallic rattle
- The bracelet pinches hair or catches on knitwear
- The bracelet is too long or too short for the next wearer

Questions about watch repinning in Mirdif
Can a watch be repinned and resized as a gift?
Yes. Tell us who will wear it and how the bracelet should fit them. We repair the wear first and then size the bracelet, so the recipient has a watch that sits right from the day they put it on.
How should I get my watch to you from Mirdif?
The simplest route is to book by WhatsApp and bring the watch in yourself. We inspect the bracelet at Prive Residences in Dubai Hills and explain what we find. If you need a different arrangement, ask when you message and we will tell you what is possible.
Will repinning stop my bracelet getting loose again?
Fresh pins and collars give a bracelet a new start, but wear returns with use, as it does with any moving part. We cannot promise a particular lifespan. Careful handling helps, and a periodic look at the bracelet catches problems early.
Can Mirdif families bring watches from different brands to the same appointment?
Yes. We work on watches from Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Tudor and many other Swiss and independent makers. Mention each make when you message, and we will plan the appointment around the bracelets you bring along, so nobody's watch is rushed.
