Business owners and executives tend to have one watch they wear almost daily. Desk edges, laptop palm rests and car doors give a bracelet constant small knocks, and each knock adds to the wear inside its links. After a few years the bracelet lengthens and begins to chatter against the table in a meeting.
Repinning is the right fix for that kind of daily stretch. New pins and collars take up the play, worn screws are replaced, and the bracelet is resized for a closer fit. Original links stay wherever possible, and we explain how long the work needs once we have seen the watch.

Replacement pins and collars give each joint its tightness back, which cuts the rattle you hear against a desk.

Worn screws and springbars are changed at the same time, so the bracelet does not loosen again at a weaker point.

My watch is worn every day. Should I repin it before it gets worse?
Stretch tends to progress, and worn pins can damage the holes in the links they sit in. Having the bracelet looked at early gives us the best chance of keeping the original links. An inspection will show whether the problem has started to affect the links themselves.
I work in Business Bay. How do I start the process?
Send a WhatsApp message with the watch make, a photo of the bracelet and what you are noticing. We will reply to arrange a visit to the Dubai Hills workshop, where the bracelet is looked over properly and the findings are shown to you before you commit to any work.
Can the bracelet be sized so it copes with warmer weather?
Resizing is part of the job, and it is set with you. Say how you like the watch to lie, and whether you want a little room for the wrist to change in the heat. We will size to suit, and we will tell you plainly if the bracelet allows for it.
Do Business Bay clients need to leave the watch with you?
Because the bracelet has to be examined link by link and then worked on, the watch stays at the workshop for the repair. We will explain the arrangements when you book, so you can plan around being without it for a while.
